Fleet Moves Workshop

$50 ($15 drop-in)
Register
Stephanie Fungsang, Jeremy Finch, and Brandin Steffensen
This four-day dance and movement workshop is designed specifically with Wellfleet movers in mind. We will begin by exploring our own structure through spirals, lines, fulcrums, and balancing points, then we’ll start to play with structured improvisation with the goal of creating an expanded sense of moving forces inside and outside of the body.  We will dance with: our weight; the floor; space; each other. No prior dance experience required.

Move + Write + Draw Workshop
July 8th, 10:30AM-12PM
Rebecca Burrill
$12
Register
This workshop plays with the translation of artistic modes of expression from movement to sound to image to spoken word to written word. We begin by exploring how movement is the foundation for this expressive continuum and finish with an open-structure improvisation where participants will have a chance to combine practices. Bring your own writing/drawing materials and come collaborate!
