Led by Fleet Moves Artists, this class will offer participants a chance to breathe, stretch, align, and dance together—a great way to start the day. BIRDDANCE

A community performance inspired by the birds of Wellfleet. All are welcome and encouraged to participate. No experience necessary. The more the merrier. Choreographer Anne Zuerner will share and facilitate simple movement patterns developed through observing the birds of Wellfleet. Those interested in participating meet one hour before the performance to learn and practice these movement patterns. Performing this dance will help us understand something new about the natural world that surrounds us and about each other. We will have fun. We will celebrate our feathered and non-feathered friends.

SENSORY WALKS

Sensory walks offer a chance to take the dance outdoors. We will start with a somatic warm-up that awakens our bodies and senses, allowing for heightened awareness of our environment and our place within it. Along the way, we will develop small choreographies/ rituals/actions that are sourced from our observations. Join us for this guided morning practice, and we invite you to carry the spirit of the sensory walks throughout your day.
