Sensing/Feeling/Imaging/Creating Workshop

130707_MoveDrawWrite_Fleetmoves_WhitneyBrowne-2939In this workshop, led by Becky Burrill, we explore what may be our body’s most important muscle—the psoas, which is a link bridging the trunk to the legs. Through movement, sensing, and introspection, we learn about its inherent bio-intelligence as core stabilizer-mobilizer, emotional detector- communicator, and encoder of memory. Through this exploration we access deep perception, sensation, and memory for dance score and collective improvisation.
